how to resolute vector and how should we know which vector could be resolute to solve equations

plzzzzzzz tell me this answer

Dear Baba

To resolve a vector first define the X and Y axis. Let the vector be P. if this makes an angle A with the positive direction of   X axis then

X componenet P_x = P*cosA

Y componenet P_y = P*sinA

to avoid the confusion the first thing is define X and Y axis and then resolve the vectors quantities along those axis. write X and Y components for all the vectors quantities and then solve.
