$asin\Theta -bcos\Theta =4$
$acos\Theta +bsin\Theta =3$
take square both eq.and both side
eq. will be
$a^2cos^2\Theta +b^2sin^2\Theta +absin2\Theta =9$
we know that   : $2absin\Theta cos\Theta =absin2\Theta$
$a^2sin^2\Theta +b^2cos^2\Theta -absin2\Theta =16$
now you have to add these eq.
$a^2(sin^2\Theta +cos^2\Theta) +b^2(sin^2\Theta +cos^2\Theta )=25$
we know that : $[sin^2\Theta +cos^2\Theta=1]$
$a^2+b^2=25$
