Hello Hrithik, I solved a similar question for some one else and i provide you the link here to help you with the solution...The concept is to divide 45° in 2 parts for 2 different small triangles and then use formula for tan x+y.....to get the altitude as tan 45 is 1 and x+y = 45°…………http://www.askiitians.com/forums/Trigonometry/in-a-triangle-abc-with-altitude-ad-angle-bac-45-d_157367.htm
