Dear Student,
In summers cotton clothes are very good absorbant for our sweat which when evaporated produces a cooling effect. Plus they allow the air to reach the pores of our body.
In winters the cotton clothes are used to make cover and filled with cotton. The cotton clothes have tiny pores in which air is stored and heat from our body is not allowed to get transferred as air is a poor conductor of heat.
