Dear Student,
tanx = a/b => sinx/cosx = a/b => bsinx = acosx.
2asinxcosx = 2bsin2x => asin2x = 2bsin2x => asin2x – bsin2x = bsin2x
=> asin2x + bcos2x – bsin2x = bcos2x + bsin2x => asin2x + bcos2x = b.
