I scored 220 in mains and 95% in cbse,My wbjee rank is 146.
However,I got only 147 in jee advanced.Dont know what went wrong that day.
So my question is should I join Jadavpur university(near my home) and try for iit next year,or should I join shibpur as it is becoming IIST?Also,which one will be a better stream -cse or electronics communication?

Hello

With marks you've got you sure can get better next year.
But you'll have to waste 1 year of time.
You can expect a rank 1000-2000 in mains.
With that you can get CS in any NIT.
So i think you should go for CS branch in any good NIT.
