i got 3159 rank in jee 2012 and i got 333 marks in bitsat ,i got 93% aggregate(96% pcm) in 12th cbse .also i want main branches(core) only ,should i go to new iits or bits or drop this year and try again for jee

choose the  college as your  location......................byut i think bits is the best

Dont take chance by droping a year, this way ur future will be unsure, join BITS- Core branch , it rocks, u will have great future

both jodhpur(iit) and pilani are near my hometown bikaner.

is  mechanical at bits a good choice for future .what about its placements and usefulness in civil services exam (ias)

As your main aim is IAS ,so take civil/mechanical in bits pilani bcoz bits has flexible education system which will give u sufficient time to prepare for IAS,also BITS is no lesser then old IITs in every respect.

You will certainly not regret taking mech/civil in BITS PILANI.

Heyy please tell if chemical at BITS pilani is also a good option or not!!
