nit Allahabad has a better mech department with almost all the PSUs visiting including gail(it visits only this NIT and 3-4  IITs),ioc,ongc,bpcl,ntpc,drdo,IEL,etc...a better faculty(go to their websites ad look at the profile of their mech department)...and a higher percentage of people getting good ranks in IES and gate...NIT W,T,S are better when it comes to departments other than mech,cse and civil..so take your decision accordingly...
