i want to choose auto mobile engineering. is it a part of mechanical engineering as many colleges don't show automobile engineering as a part of their branch being taught.if i choose mechanical in b.tech then will i be given a choice to opt for automobile. i know iit's are the best but can you please tell me about other colleges too.

Yes, automobile engineering is a sub-division of mechanical enginering.
