IIT'S are ofcourse world class institutions in india. apart from these u can have NIT'S, BITS-PILANI,

Apart from IIT's the best colleges are all the NIT's & IIIT's !!

Then after that you have the State Government/Central Government Engineering Colleges ...

apart from IIT, I think the best college is BITS Pilani (even better than some IITs)... but otherwise, there are a good number of colleges like NITs , IIIT Hyd, VIT and many more...
