i want to know if we study at iist then next 5 years we have to serve in isro. then how can we do our pg? can we leave isro after working there for 5 years?

Yes there is a bond for IIST that you will have to work in ISRO for atleast 5 years,..you can leave it after 5 years, but again there is no job other than ISRO in India,..there is a probability of you going to NASA, but the chances are less,....so I think in general, students who study in IIST end up working in ISRO,...the aim of establishment of IIST was the same
