what type of preperations should b made for appearing in iit exam and is coaching necessary? if yes then when after +2 or in +1???????

for iit , you must have a very good command on all the three subjects. because you have to pass cutoffs in all the three subjects . for this exam your analytic power must be very good because only then you can apply shortcuts & save time .  you should also know the classical answer of every question too because only then one can be able to use shortcuts . this comes after along practice of subjects .

                  now when the exam paper is going easy day by day , coaching is not necessary.but in coachings a proper guideline of subject is given &whole subject is covered. so it will be very useful . Students do coaching after +2 as well as in +1 , but  if one is going to do it after +2 , he must  be very good in his +2 course especially in mathematics. for average students coaching in +1 will be useful.
