what r the job prospectus in metallurgy department?.. r good jobs available in this field.?

Metallurgy have scope in metal industries like SAIL,JINDAL STEELS etc which is limited to certain sphere of industries. I will suggest u to go for core branches ( ECE, Electrical, Mechanical,Civil) as they have wider scope than metallurgy. As u have mentioned earlier that u r having a option of Civil frm NIT(Kurukshetra), I would advice u take CIVIL than going for metallurgy.
