sir i am alloted cse in bits mesra in 3 round of seat allotment. i would like to know its ranking. my rank in aieee is 14985. my options above bits ranchi are all branches except bio tech and metallurgy in nit warangal.will i get these in my fourth options. my parents feel that i have done a wrong thing by putting bits ranchi above many nits in my options. is it so? right now i am alloted Msc tech information systems in pilani. which one to prefer? waiting for your reply. thank you.

 BITS Ranchi is as good as top NITs, and doing computers from there would be equally good as doing from any of the NITs. BIt Mesra has gt good infra and a decent placement record. If u see the rankings BITS Mesra is placed close to top NITs lyk trichi and warangal and is way better than many other NITs, so going fr BIT Mesra ws nt a bad move.

BITS institutes have good prospects cause its linked to many universities too. So, CSE from BITS Mesra is a good option and even if u do not get  place in NIT warangal, do not worry at all, coz ur present situation is decent enough. Nw all u need to do is perform good in ur academics and secure a good job fr urself.
