For Chennai Mathematical instiute .Yes, There is an aptitude test conducted by the Chennai Mathematical Institute for getting admitted in B.Sc (Maths). It is an aptitude test to know about the potential of the candidate in Maths. The questions for the exam will be on Geometry, Arithmetic, Algebra, Trignometry, Calculus, etc. The candidate should have deep knowledge in the +2 level Mathematics. The entrance examination centres are as follows: Allahabad, Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Calicut, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Madurai, Mumbai, Patna, Pune, Ranchi, Shilong and Srinagar. The college will conduct the entrance exam every year before the commencement of the course as to select eligible candidates.
