I have secured State rank 325 (TN, GEN category rank 221) and AIR 18,871 (OP, i.e. GEN category rank 14, 471).

Do I have a chance of getting Mechanical Engg in a NIT? Would NIT, Tiruchy be possible?

Also, will I be competing for the 50% Home State Quota (TN) as well as for the remaining 50% All India Quota when considering NIT, Tiruchy
