 WHY SUN APPEARS RED:
SUNLIGHT CONTAINS 7 COLOURS  [VIBGYOR] AS IN THE RAINBOW , OUT OF THESE VIOLET HAS THE LOWEST  WAVELENGTH  AND RED HAS HIGHEST WAVELENGTH .
IN SUNSET AND SUNRISE THE SUNLIGHT HAS TO TRAVEL MORE DISTANCE , SO AS THE SUNLIGHT TRAVELS MORE DISTANCE  THROUGH THE ATMOSPHERE  ONLY COLOURS HAVING HIGH WAVELENGTH   CAN REACH US
HOW TO  MEASURE THE TEMPERATURE OF SUN :
BY  MEASURING THE BRIGHTNESS DISTRIBUTION OF  THE SUN AND FITTING IT WITH PLANCKS LAW THE TEMPERATURE CAN BE CALCULATED
