In fluid mechanics and thermodynamics, the control volume is a volume fixed in space or moving with constant velocity (no acceleration) through which the fluid (it could be gas or liquid) flows. The surface enclosing the control volume is referred to as the control surface. Control surface is boundary of Control Volume.
