The electric field at a point is the derivative of potential at that point.

E=-\dfrac{dV}{dr}=-\dfrac{d(\dfrac{kp^r}{r^2})}{dr}

=-\dfrac{r^2(rkp^{r-1})-kp^r(2r)}{r^4}
