plz help.Conceptual doubt. H(enthaly)=E+PV Differentiating,we get, H = E + (PV) =nC v dT + P V + V P =nC v dT + nR T + V P For isothermal process,dT=0, T=0 hence, H = 0 + 0 + V P = V P BUT FOR ISOTHERMAL PROCESSES, IT IS SAID U=0, H=0 EXPLAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

plz help.Conceptual doubt.

H(enthaly)=E+PV

Differentiating,we get,H = E + (PV)

     =nCvdT  + PV + VP

     =nCvdT + nRT + VP

For isothermal process,dT=0,T=0

hence, H = 0 + 0 + VP  =  VP

BUT FOR ISOTHERMAL PROCESSES, IT IS SAID  U=0,H=0

EXPLAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

H=U=PV
differentiating,
dH=dU+d(PV)
put PV=nRT
dH=dU+nRdT
Now if the process is isotermal,
dT=0
and if dU=0
then dH=0
