4 g at 22.4 litres means 1 molecule contains 4g and hence it is helium gas which is monoatomic means gamma is equal to 5/3. cp/cv=gamma Cp/5=1.6 Gives Gives 8. 0

2 doubts in the answer by respected expert Arun,
Answer given in the book is also 8.0
(1) Cp/Cv = 5/3, Cp = 25/3 = 8.33(which is round off to 8.5)
(2) why we cannot directly use the formula Cp-Cv = R, from that we get ans. 13.3(which is not in option)
