Newton`s law of cooling states that-rate of loss of heat is directly proportional to temperature difference between the body and the surrounding.i. e., -dQ/dt α (T-Ts) ,where T = temperature of the body and Ts = temperature of the surrounding. *Here negative sign indicates the loss of heat.
