The efficiency of carnot engine is given by

T1-T2/2.

Let t1 be increased by x and so t2

So efficiency be

T1+x-(T2+x)/T1+x

T1-T2/T1+x

As the denominator value is increased,the total value of efficiency decreases

(T1-X)- (T2-X)/T1-X = ETA2= EFFICIENCY OF HEAT ENGINE AFTER DECREASING TEMPERATURE
