¬2 moles of an ideal monoatonic gas is carried from a state (P0,V0) to a state (2P0,2V0) along a straight line path in a P-V diagram.The amount of heat absorbed by the gas in the process is given by: (a) 3P0V0 (b) (9/2)P0V0 (c) 6P0V0 (d) (3/2)P0V0

\DeltaU = nCv\DeltaT = n(3R/2)(4PoVo – PoVo)/nR = 9PoVo/R
W = (2P+Po)Vo/2 = 3PoVo/2
\DeltaQ = W + \DeltaU = 6PoVo
Hope it clears. If you like answer then please approve it.
