Flag Thermal Physics> temperature-of-vacuum...
question mark

We know, if there is any temperature inside a vessel, then this is due to the movement of the particles of the substance inside the vessel. But if a vessel is evacuated, then there is no substance inside the gas. Then, what will be the temperature inside the vessel? if there is any temperature of vacuum, then where does it come from?

Listen My dear temperature inside the vessel is :

1. due to motion of the particle

2. due to radiation of the wall & another electomagnetic radiation.

so when vessel is vaccum , then teperature will be only due to the radiation

of the wall so when this will be in thermal equlibrium then temperature of

the vaccum will be equal to temperature of the wall.
