Calorie is the heat required to raise the temp. of water through 1 degree from 14.5C to 15.5C is it that only 14.5C-15.5C is the range for the heat to be called 1 calorie?

One calorie is the approximates the energy needed to increase the temperature of 1 kilogram of water by 1 °C. irrespective of the temperature.
