Suppose a container contain a mixture of gases. if we ignore all the gases except one then the pressure of that gas on the walls of vessel is called its partial pressure. The pressure of the mixture of the sases is qual to the sum of the partial pressures of the gases.
Vapour pressure is the pressure of the vapour of the liquid at equalibrium with it's liquid phase in a vessel.
Thanks & Regards
