What is the molarity of an aqueous solution of CH3COOH,molar mass= 60, which contains 6.0 g of etanoic acid in 500ml of the solution?

 Acetic Acid has molecular weight 60
And we know that thousand ml 1M of solution of any compound contain one gram mole (i.e. molecular weight)of that compound.
 
Hence we may write,
60 g CH3COOH in 1000 ml of solution=1molar
6g CH3COOH in 1000ml of solution=(6÷60)molar
6g CH3COOH in 500ml of solution= .           (6÷60)×(1000÷500) =0.2 molar (ANSWER)
