using salts to split h20 – meaning of salt hydrolysis
PLEASE NOTE EXCEPT FOR STRONG ACID AND STRONG BASE SALTS EVERYTHING ELSE UNDERGOES SALT HYDROLYSIS.
STRONG ACID AND STRONG BASE SALTS ARE ACTUALLY WEAK CONJUGATE BASES AND ACIDS HENCE ARE NOT CAPABLE ENOUGH TO BREAK H20...HENCE NOT CAUSING HYDROLYSIS.
IN NCERT- ALL SALTS CAUSE HYDROLYSIS(WHICH IS WRONG)
THANKS
