Dear Sreekanth
Ferromagnetism is the basic mechanism by which certain materials (such as iron) form permanent magnets, or are attracted to magnets. In physics, several different types of magnetism are distinguished.

Hello Sreekanth
Ferromagnetic materials, such as iron, contain unpaired electrons, each with a small magnetic field of its own, that align readily with each other in response to an external magnetic field. This alignment tends to persists even after the magnetic field is removed, a phenomenon called hysteresis.

DEAR SREEKANTH,
.Ferro magnetism means they are attracted to magnets and can be magnetized themselves.Iron, nickel, cobalt and some of the rare earths (gadolinium, dysprosium) exhibit a unique magnetic behavior which is called ferromagnetism.

ferro magnetism is defined as the magnets are attracted and can be magnetized themselves.

The phenomenon whereby certain substances can become permanent magnets when subjected to a magnetic field is called ferro magnetism.
