It is defined as the product of the magnitude of the charge and distance of separation between the charges.Denoted by v ( nu).Unit _debye ( D)Dipole moment =charge x distance.

it is defined as product of magnitude of each charge and the seperation between charges.
It is denoted by neo.
debye is it’s unit.
Dipole moment = charge * seperation

When two atoms share electrons unequally a bond dipole results and it can be defined as charge*seperation.

We can easily defined it...... It is the product of charge and seperation between two charge i.e distance between two charge.Dipole moment is a vector quantity and its direction is less to higher electronegativity.
