BELOW ARE THE COMPARISON BETWEEN THE TWO
FRENDLICH ADSORPTION ISOTHERM
1- IT TELLS ABOUT THE quantity of gas adsorbed by unit mass of solid adsorbent with pressure , it is represented by formula
x/m = Kp ^1/n
2- it provide information about heterogenity of adsorption site
3- it failed to explain adsorption at high pressure .
4- it doesnot tell anything about adsorption and desorption
LANGMUIR ADSORPTION ISOTHERM
1- it tells about the number of active site undergoing adsorption and pressure .
2- theta = KP / 1+ KP (FORMULA )
3- it provides information about homogenity of adsorption site .
4- it also failed to explain adsorption at high pressure
5- his theory totally based on adsorption and desorption equilibrium .
HOPE IT CLEARS YOUR DOUBT
ALL THE BEST ..
