Sol. CO has a total of 14 electrons and CN– also has 14 electrons : C (6e–) + N (7e–) + e– → CN– (14e–)

The ans is CN-
Because CO has total 14 electron(6 from carbon and 8 from oxygen)
In CN has also 14 electron(6 from carbon and 7 from nitrogen and 2 from in – tht mean CN-)
