Asthe energy is conserved, the energfy released after gaining the electron i.e the electron gain enthalpy=- ionisation energy=-5.1eV
It maeans that this amount of energy is released.

Dear Student,
Please find below the solution to your problem.

As the energy is conserved, the energy released after gaining the electron i.e the electron gain enthalpy = – ionisation energy = – 5.1eV
It maeans that this amount of energy is released.

Thanks and Regards
