Sir i dont understand why Rault`s law is not true,but an approximation.I have problem in understanding tht concept.Plz help me sir.

Raoult's Law only works forideal solutions. An ideal solution is defined as one which obeys Raoult's Law.In practice, there's no such thing (as ideal solution case rarely exists!) However, very dilute solutions obey Raoult's Law to a reasonable approximation.
