							Dear student ..................Equivalent weight = molecular weight /valency factor .......Here , in H3PO4 valency factor is 3 because it can loose 3 H atoms.......Therefore Equivalent weight = molecular weight / 3 .....With Regards ...mahima.(askiitians forum expert )

H3P04 containes 3 hydrogens bonded to 3 different oxygens.so it can realease 3 H+ ions.so it is a triprotic acid. then its equivalent weight should be =molecular wieght of H3P04/3=100/3.
