Concentration of HCl= (0.1*10)/1000=0.1*10^-2
Concentration of H2SO4=(0.2*40)/1000=8*10^-2
[H+]=(0.1*10^-2)+(2*(8*10^-2))
[H+]=(0.1*10^-2)+(16*10^-2)
[H+]=(16.1*10^-2)
According to the equation pH= – log[H+] we get
pH= – log(16.1*10^-2)
pH= (– log(16.1) )+ ( – log(10^-2))
pH= – 1.207 + 2
pH=0.793
