number of moles of electrons required to deposit 1g equivalent aluminum from a solution of aluminium chloride.
i’m confused that yhe ans will be 1 or 3.

First write the eqn.,
Al3+ + 3e-  ------------ >   Al
Eq. mass of aluminuim = 27/3 = 9 gm.
And for 1 mole there is 1F is needed therefore from unitary method F/3 -s are required.
