in electrolysis of PbBr2(liquid) where does electrons released by br- at anode go, i think its not cathodebecause pb2+ gets reduced by electrons release by battery

In electrolysis of PbBr2, Pb2+ gain electrons whereas Br- is attracted to positive anode and also gets discharged from bromine vapor. Hence bromine ions looses electrons and lead gains electrons and this reaction is called reduction reaction.
