Equation is 2Ca +O2 = 2CaO Here no.of moles of Ca(2) =No. of moles of CaO(2)..... (1) No. Of moles of Ca=1.53/x moles and No. Of moles of CaO = 1.88/56.... from equation 1,we have.... 1.53/x = 1.88/56 ,x=39.31 which is approximately equal to 40.75..
