Water will not overflow. This is simply because the density of ice is less than that of water.
Let us understant this mathematically
Let,
Mass of ice = Mass of the water formed after melting= m

Volume of the ice = v1
volume of the liquid =v2
Density of ice (d1) = m/v1
Density of water(d2) = m/v2

Now as we know that d1 < d2
i.e. m/v1 < m/v2
or
1/v1 < 1/v2
or v1> v2
This indicates that volume of ice is more than that of liquid so the glas will not overflow.
