I have to make stannous sulfate. I dissolve tin in HCL then neutralise it with NAOH solution.Finally neutralized oxide is reacted with Sulphuric acid in presence of Metanol as medium to get stannous sulfate powder. Problem is this powder starts getting yellow I.e Stannic in 15 days. How I can avoid or prolong it for shelf life of 3-4 months??
