Dear Tanu

Liquid junction potential occurs when two solutions of different concentration are in contact. The more concentrated solution has tendency to diffuse into less concentrated solution. The movement of ions across the solution froms opposite charge layer at the point of contact between them . SALT BRIDGE have KNO3 which moves to the solution and disassociate to give K+ and NO3- ion which neutralises the charge and prevent liquid junction potential.
