Hello Student
Antiseptics and disinfectants are the basic tools of cleaning and sanitizing
Both antiseptics and disinfectants eliminate disease-causing organisms,

The difference is in how each substance is used.Antiseptics are applied to living skinor tissue to prevent infection, whereasdisinfectants are applied tosurfaces, equipment or otherinanimate objects.Disinfectants are stronger and more toxic than antiseptics because they are applied to surfaces, not living tissue.
Some of the antiseptics are alcohol, boric acid, iodine atc.
And some of the desinfectant are washing soda, sodium borate,Iodoform etc.
Dettol is act as an antiseptic as well as disinfectant used for floor cleaner and infected clothes.
