Dear student

In, H2SO4, sulphate ion is tetrahedral due to sp3 hybridization.

The extra charge on other oxygen atoms gives the ion a charge of (-2) which is balanced by 2 hydrogen ions.

Thus, hybridization in H2SO4 is sp3.
