in these kind of questions you have to take mole fraction.
let equal weights of both ethane and hydrogen be W.
so, molefraction of H2 has to be calculated...
W/2/W/2 + W/30 (mole fraction of H2....nummber of moles of H2/number of moles of H2 + number of moles of ethane.)
(now you might be wondering what is 30...it is the molecular mass of ethane...)
On solving you will get 30/32 or 15/16
