  1. CO2 is 12/44 carbon so 9.6 g carbon total
  2. If x is grams methane, carbon content is 12/16*x + 24/28*(12 g - x) = 9.6 g
    leading to 6.4 g CH4 and 5.6 g C2H4
  3. Using their molar masses, 0.4 mol CH4, 0.2 mol C2H4, or 0.6 mol total
  4. 12 g/0.6 mol = 20 g/mol
