2H2 + O2 ———— 2H2O
According to this equation
2(1x2) g of hydrogen combines with (16x2)g of oxygen to give 2(2+16) g of water.
4g (H) + 32 g (O) ———-32g of H2O
Let us take oxygen and proceed further as more amount of oxygen is needed for the reaction.
32g of oxygen needs = 4g of hydrogen
Hence 90g of O2 needs= (4 x90) / 32 =11.25g of hydrogen
The amount of water formed is (90 + 11.25) =101.25 g of water.
