An element is a brittle solid at room temp & a poor thermal conductor. Which of the following properties is least likely to exhibit? 1.Ability to form positive ions 2.A poor electrical conductivity 3.Behaviour as an oxidising agent 4.Ability to act as the negative end of a molecular dipole Can u ans the right one & gimme d explaination 4 d same???? It will be helpfu;l as my Aieee exams are approaching ##

a brittle solid at room temperature and being a poor thermal conductor implies it being a non metal...so poor elctrical conductivity follows it,and non metals generally exhibit oxidising properties...but they have very poor ability to form positive ions..(here i mention about the non metal solids that are brittle) so the answer is option 1.

plz approve it if u r satisfied..!
