A compound wxist in gaseous phase both as monomer(A) and diamer(A2). Molecular weight of A is 48. In an experiment 96grams of compound was confined in a vessel of volume 33.6litre and heated to 273 degee celsius. Calculate pressure developed if compound exhist as diamer to extent of 50% by weight under these condition

n=  (48/48 )  +  (48/96)   =   3/2

P   =   nRT/V   =   1.5( .0821)(273)/ 33.6    =   1.00059375 atm
